Didn't like the look on my Silverado **Q: Is drilling required?** A: Drilling was required on 2009 Chevrolet **Q: Where exactly does this mount up ?** A: It will mount to the back side of the pinch weld on your kick panel.You might need to drill a couple of holes. It took me 20 minutes to install.
