The Bluetooth button on both speakers: flash blue 2. Short press the TWS buttons on two speakers. The TWS button on both speakers: flash white 3. After TWS pairing, the TWS button on both speakers will become stable white. Slave speaker with blue light off on Bluetooth button Master speaker with blue light flash on Bluetooth button 4. Use the master speaker to connect with other devices Avoid having any electronic devices between the two speakers. Make sure the distance between the two speakers not greater than 5 meters.

How long has this speaker lasted overall i want to buy this for my partner?

If you're asking about the battery life and play time, it lasts a long time. I've never played it continuously from full to empty but with frequent use of a few hours at a time it lasts for days. I have 2 so I can link them together and play them in stereo. Sounds great just with one too. Highly recommended.
