Use them a lot and they work great

These things work very well. It takes a little time to fluff up an end to make them catch a spark well (a single strike from a good firesteel), but then they catch just like a cotton ball. You might ask "why not just use cotton balls?" Well, these are very compact, and they actually work BETTER than cotton balls because you can fluff one end to catch the spark but leave the other end compact so it burns more slowly, giving your other tinder and kindling longer to catch fire. And this 50-pack is a really great deal for premade tinder, period.

Surprised by this product i was trying on a hunch! light-weighted ..... small to fit anywhere ..... and most surprisingly will light when dry ...... but under the water faucet and tried to light again ..... and light again! Wow! nice!
