It can become addictive!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Chutney with a Small Surprise *by A***E on September 20, 2017* What stops this tasty chutney from earning a better rating is that it uses WHOLE SPICES. This may be ok for some people, but I suspect I am not alone in preferring not to get speared in the roof of the mouth by a whole clove. Each jar has at least one or two whole cloves as well as some other big, clunking, seedy looking things that - while they may add a delightful flavor to the whole jar - taste like ungodly hell when you bite into one of them. I used this chutney to create really good, quick curries - but I took the time to carefully remove the unwelcome riders first.
