The center screen can be pulled out for cleaning when your done using it. **Q: Does the lid fit tight? Taking over pool maintenance for my dad put a new seal still very lose do I need a new one?** A: The lid should fit tight.. I had to replace mine because the flap on the bottom wore out. This caused water to be sucked up through the bottom of the container You must empty the canister regularly. other wise it will put strain on the pump motor **Q: Product dimensions ?** A: About 12” tall and 6” in diameter ( this is a visual estimate) . It works well, but only if you keep it cleaned out. **Q: Does this come with an extra hose for the pump side? It's the hoses that are required to connect. The Zodiac brand hoses have failed. They have a unique twist lock that connects to the cleaner and the leaf catcher. They do supply twist lock to slip adapters, but you really need 2 sets. One set to get from the wall to the leaf catcher and another set to use between the leaf catcher and the cleaner. I cannot find these parts available for sale anywhere.Any assistance on where to locate these parts would be appreciated!CheersUpdateAfter years with this leaf catcher, I would not purchase again. The hoses get caught on the catcher.
