I have used this product, in this color since 2019, I absolutely love it, and the results, i do have mostly gray hair, and when first applied, it is a really dark vibrant blue, i like it best when it has faded some after a month, i get nothing but compliments. We started about 2 yrs ago with the temp colors. I start behind my ears ad separate hair out into 2 sections top and bottom. Bottom I like blue and top is purple. Do bottom first once saturated I over with plastic cap or shopping bag. Then the top the colors really don't bleed into each other. Use petroleum jelly on ears head and neck. If temporary color never wash with hot or warm water if u do you'll wash the color out quickly. Also consider how dark yr hair is. Of course bleached hair is brighter. But know bleaching can harm hair. I got to the point that my hair was about 50% white, which looked pretty dramatic with my black natural color - major salt & pepper! But I'm not ready to have white hair. I use this straight out of the box - no pre-bleaching whatsoever. The result is exactly what I want: intense blue with multidimensional color. The naturally white hair is screaming metallic blue. 😱 The black hair is a deeper shade, but there's NO question that I have blue hair! I took this picture 24 days after I colored it last. (I usually do my hair every 5-7 weeks.) This is in natural daylight - no other lights at all. You can see that my part is showing new growth already, but my color is definitely not faded in the least!
