Bag a lot smaller than I expected
Not the cheapest but my budgies liked it, so on that basis I would recommend

Budgies don't like human made pellets!
Just introduced my budgies to this feed, as expected they were suspicious, they were poking their beaks into the seed to investigate when I first gave it to them. On the second bag and the birds are rejecting the pellets. As part of a mixed diet the pellets are important, they very likely contain much of the vitamin and mineral requirement of the birds. Vitakraft make excellent bird feed and treats, I can highly recommend it! I'm going back to a seed diet as my birds are elderly, fussy and use to just seeds with their chickweed, lettuce, apple etc. I started breeding and showing budgies and canaries in the 1950's, I'd feel confident my budgies were getting a very good diet if they were feed on this feed!
