If like me you're tired of constantly reattaching your radar detector to the windshield (due to suction cups not holding), this product is for you! Have found my radar detector numerous times, either on the floor or dangling from the power cord still attached. Hanging by the power cord occurred so many times eventually caused a broken solder joint in the radar detector's power connector. Not to mentioning dropping electronics again and again of course not the best thing for longevity. Came across this product and ordered. Attached to my mirror in less than five minutes (my mirror very similar to the product picture) using the supplied allen wrench. The products two ball joints allowed me to neatly tuck my V1 right under my mirror. I can adjust the mirror and not affect the position of the V1. Can easily remove the V1 from this mount in under five seconds. No more suction cup marks on the windshield. For what problems this product solves would gladly have paid twice the price. A most definite highest recommendation. Pros * Keeps radar detector perfectly positioned and out of the way * Mirror can be adjusted without moving detector * No more suction cup marks on windshield * No more damage occurring from suction cup losing grip * Very easy to remove detector (when leaving car with valet or getting it washed etc) * Very good price considering the quality and problems it solves. Cons * Not finding this sooner!
