This is the approved assembly grease for barrels on AR-15s. Typically you get half an ounce for some outrageous amount from someone who is making a total killing parting out these tubes. I am unwilling to support that business model even if it means buying more than a lifetime supply for my purpose. Does it work? Yes. Very well. It is the right product for the AR-15 barrel to upper receiver assembly, including the barrel nut and the gas block.

This seems like a very nice grease, however I mistook it for Aeroshell 33MS. So, it won't serve all of my intended purposes.
