Heiniger Trimmer for Cats, Dogs

So I groom my cockapoo myself. I use wahl km cordless, with attachment combs. I clip my dog different lengths according to weather. He has seasonal allergies and needs bathing a lot so at present his clipped fairly short. I did own a wahl 5-1 clipper which I liked but a friend needed a pair clippers so I ended up giving her them. I’ve heard how great Heiniger clippers are but I can’t justify buying another clipper as my km are a fantastic piece of kit. So when I saw these trimmers I couldn’t resist and boy they are fantastic. They’re not designed to do full groom but I do have a set of wahl metal attachments that fit them. And you can do a full groom they have the power to do so. Dose a descent enough job. But not as good as the wahl km. so I use the to do his paws Sanatry area use these on his face, and arm pits so on. They hold their charge and last a long time before they need charging they are lovely to hold. And when my wahl do pack up I’d be tempted to buy a pair of Heiniger opal clips. Just to compare with the wahl km cordless which I highly recommend. But am cautious how good the opal clipper are. I do recommend these along side either km’s or a full pair of clippers.

Excellent clippers. I've used the Heiniger standard dog clippers for a few years but needed some new trimmers. These are great. You can adjust the length of cut with a lever near the clipper head and there are plastic combs to use if you need a longer length leaving. My Norfolk Terrier no longer enjoys being hand stripped, so I used these. Great result even on her strong wire coat. Would recommend.
