When I first received these Ticonderoga pencils, I honestly thought they looked like any regular pack of school pencils, maybe even a bit darker in color than the pictures online. But once I started using them, I quickly understood why teachers always recommend this brand. They sharpen smoothly without splintering, the graphite writes cleanly and consistently, and the erasers actually remove marks without smudging, something rare with cheaper pencils. The pre-sharpened tips were convenient right out of the box, and even after multiple sharpenings, the core stays centered and strong.
