Does this come with the charger?

Mine did not come with a charger. It uses two AA batteries.

Is the berry color more like a dark pink or does it look more red in person?

It is dark pinkish. Not red at all.

Hows the appearance of the games on the screen? I have one thats old and its gotten so dark you cant really play on it without being in the light

It doesn't have a backlight, so you need a decent amount of light to play.
