Wow! This stand really is heavy duty! I really wasn't expecting such thick iron, like they'd claimed it to be, but DANG! I'll be buying more of these for my other stone & ceramic planters, for sure! This will definitely take the few hundred pounds of outdoor planters I have that hold my dwarf trees on the patio.

I bought three different stair-step height, 8, 12, and 16 inches. I want to put them on top of a low table to hold my herb plants, which are in huge, heavy sinks. These stands can do the job, quite sturdy and heavy. They are not fancy, careful metal work, not the wrought iron of olde, but they do look very very nice and I have no hesitation about trusting 40 or 50 pounds to them.
