Is this a power strip or extension lead? The description is misleading and it can't be both. :/

It is a 6 way strip but has a shortish length of cable to connect to the mains so it can be described as a very short extension but essentially is a 6 gangg outlet and all outlets are controlled by one switch loto show when it is 'ON'cated on the side if the block. It illuminates to show when it is 'ON'.
