I have a bunch of these and the y work great, fast, easy to use

This adapter provides a stable, hardwired connection when Wi-Fi is not fast enough for heavy law school research. It is strictly plug and play, requiring no software installation. The weight is negligible, making it easy to keep in my bag for campus. Given the excellent build quality and consistent functionality without any drop-offs, it offers solid value for money. It’s perfectly versatile for numerous uses (keeps me from having to use like 3 other dongles)

I bought this specifically for a Valve Steam Deck. I recently got a gigabit fiber connection and wanted to take full advantage of it when downloading games on the Deck. I took a gamble on this adapter knowing that Linux generally has incredible driver support without much, if any, configuring.I installed it into the Steam Deck's USB-C port, hooked the other end up to my network switch, and the Steam Deck instantly registered a new wired connection. I didn't even have to go into "Desktop Mode" for it; it all worked flawlessly in the "Gaming Mode". I downloaded a 15GB game in about 3 minutes with the Deck maxing out at 880Mbps.The device itself seems well built with a braided cable and gray anodized aluminum enclosures on each end. It's small and compact so it'll fit nicely in the Steam Deck case's little pouch or in that drawer that every house has that's full of cables, adapters, and dongles. It seems as though it's good value for money as well, like every Anker product I've purchased, but time will tell if something goes screwy down the line.

Needed to direct connect to my Modem / Router, but my MacBook Pro, being more modern, and slimmer, doesn't have an Ethernet port anymore (thank goodness). This worked perfectly; just plugged it in and ripped...definitely Plug-n-Play for my Mac.Quality is good (what else do you expect from Anker).

For Android phone Samsung Flagship Galaxy Series phones... at best getting 136 Mbps, which is 0.136 Gbps. But it is working and allowing me to transfer files within my network. No where near a Gigabit transfer.I will likely keep it because I have another use case for it (a faulty Ethernet on a laptop) and don't get me started with the abyssal wifi speeds on laptops. This deserves at best 4 stars.

The item works great. I was having issues with video conference calls even with strong wifi in my house. I bought this adapter due to my HP laptop not having an Ethernet port. This worked great right out of the box. It was detected automatically and as soon as I plugged the Ethernet cable into the adapter, my laptop immediately switched over to that and my internet became more stable.
