PERFECTION! Not a single lead has broken and all sharpen to a super fine and sharp point, although there is also an option on the sharpener for flatter points. Prismacolors in particular are noted for their cores breaking, but they have held up since I bought this several months ago.I ended by temporarily bed-ridden due to an accident and I spent a lot more time than usual coloring and doing art work. This sharpener was a life saver as it did not have to be plugged in and it sharpened everything quickly. I am still on the same batteries so it is long-lasting also.
