Easy to set up. Connect to WiFi quickly. Work with Alexa. I've named each bulb and ask alexa to turn it on and off. There is an app too to do all this if you haven't got alexa. You can choose any colour you want. From red to green. turn light to whatever colour you want and even the level of brightness. I ask alexa to turn the light to say 10% for relaxing or 100% for bright light. Or just use the app to do this. Had these for well over a year. Very reliable, steady, not a single issue with them. And being LED the electric cost is tiny in comparison to a regular bulb and for infinitely better item than dies so much more.

These are great smart bulbs, the app is a bit fiddly and they are more of a pain to set up but once they're working and they're configured in alexa they are impressive. They are smart home compatible but it needs a weird workaround with their app adding routines to alexa. I've had them for a while now with no issues.

On star knocked off as when I got a set, the first one I screwed in the base rotated on the lamp and came away. As an Engineer, a bit of soldering and some epoxy sorted it but it should not have happened. Once installed, they were easy to set up and Alexa can colour change them and switch them on and off as I want. Not bad but they need to watch the quality control on the assembly.

Been using Avatar products for a while now and they are great. Super easy to connect and set up. The dimming functionality makes them a must have if you’re without dimmable switches.

The bulbs are very bright and I love the different colours, all very bold and change quickly. You can turn the bulbs on and off and adjust the brightness very easily, either through their App or through Alexa. It's hard to capture the colours properly in photos but I've tried with bright white, blue and red at 100% brightness. There are so many options and many different shades of colours and white - from warm white to cool white. I had a few issues with one of the bulbs working correctly and the app and Alexa not finding it, but when I contacted support they replied to me so quickly and couldn't have been more helpful in resolving the issue and sending a replacement. This has given me a lot of confidence to buy with them again as they obviously look after their customers. The instructions come with the bulb and are very simple. Just turn the bulb off and on 3 times and then search for it using the app (I have used either AvatarControls or Smart Life) to add it. You can then control the bulb through that app or you can add it to Alexa using skills.

I bought these for lighting in my caravan, where I don’t have WiFi. It took a few tries to connect to my phone hotspot and I ended up using the Smart Life app instead of Avatar Controls because I couldn’t get the latter to recognize my phone without WiFi. I had to put my phone right next to the bulb to get it to connect. Once it had done it once and I added the bulb shortcut to my homepage, I had no issues. It works perfectly, with one page for colored light swiping to one for shades of white light. The dimmer is intuitive and works well and the bulb gives a lovely, cozy ambience. Very happy!

Both bulbs have been installed in my outdoor lights (these bulbs are suitable for both indoors & outdoors per the listing) as my street doesn’t have street lamps all the way to the end & my house is last on the street. I thought these would be a good “get around” as I can turn them on when I’m nearing my house and not have to walk in absolute darkness. Unfortunately only 1 of the 2 bulbs is able to be installed, no matter how many times I’ve tried to install the second one it simply won’t join the network, coming up with a variety of messages & reasons it can’t join; bulb timed out/bulb can’t be found/network unavailable/etc. My Wi-Fi reaches both of the bulb/light fittings but to be certain It wasn’t the Wi-Fi or light fitting I switched the bulbs into the opposing light fitting and it was the same problem; the second bulb can’t be installed/found. It’s a shame because the one that has been installed is fantastic; offering a range of colours and brightness, a schedule for prepared timings of the lights being on/off, etc.

Had these bulbs a while now and have worked fine with only a handful of times where i have had to power cycle due to locking out. They are not the brightest during the day but are great for setting the ambience at night which is what i wanted. I recently changed the router and had issues getting one of the 10 month old bulbs into pairing mode, so could not get it connected to the mew wifi network. Spoke to avatar support via email who were great, replied with in 24 hours (it was in the middle of the night when they replied due to timezone differences so took a couple of days of back and forthing) but they agreed to send me a replacement bulb after a quick video of the issue. I was advised I would receive the new bulb within 15-20 days, so was surprised the next day when i got a prime delivery containing a pack of 2 brand new bulbs. The new bulbs went in and connected without a hitch, and i now have a spare to use elsewhere. Highly reccomend these bulbs, and will definately use avatar for other smart home products. 10/10

Ich bin absolut begeistert von dieser E14 LED Alexa Lampe! Sie bietet alles, was man sich von einer modernen Glühbirne wünscht. Mit 5W und 500lm liefert sie sowohl warmweißes als auch kaltweißes Licht, was ideal für unterschiedliche Stimmungen und Anforderungen ist. Besonders gefällt mir die RGB-Funktion, mit der ich jede Farbe einstellen kann, die ich möchte. Die Integration in mein Smart Home war kinderleicht. Die Lampe lässt sich problemlos über WLAN mit Smartlife bzw Tuya App verbinden und funktioniert einwandfrei mit Alexa. Die Sprachsteuerung ist sehr praktisch und reagiert schnell. Auch die Möglichkeit, die Lampe per Fernbedienung oder über eine App zu steuern, finde ich super. Besonders cool finde ich die Musik-Synchronisationsfunktion – perfekt für Partys oder einfach, um eine besondere Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Zeitplan- und Timer-Funktion. Ich kann die Lampe so einstellen, dass sie sich automatisch ein- und ausschaltet, was besonders morgens und abends sehr praktisch ist. Das Dimmen der Lampe funktioniert ebenfalls einwandfrei, so dass ich immer die perfekte Helligkeit einstellen kann. Insgesamt eine hervorragende Lampe, die ich nur weiterempfehlen kann. Sie ist nicht nur praktisch, sondern auch ein tolles Gadget, das jede Wohnung aufwertet. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
