Great way to keep your D-RAMs cool
Highly recommended.

Funziona

Stuff does work.
Had to give this a review after using it for a long time now. I've used this stuff for several video cards heatsinks on voltage regulators and ram chips. When you take heatsinks off, often times the thermal pads are no good and can't be reused, and it's difficult to see exactly how much gap you need to fill in, leaving you the guesswork on what thermal pads to buy for replacement. With this stuff there is no guesswork, it squishes down easily filling in the gaps between the parts without force and without preventing good gpu to heatsink contact. Thermal pads that are too think can in some cases prevent good gpu to heatsink contact then your card overheats are runs too hot. This stuff last for a long time, and after awhile it literally becomes a thermal pad, and when redone comes right off with ease. It is kinda hard to spread out evenly, easy to use too much but it works great. I would highly recommend this paste if your thermal pads went toast. Imo, it's just as good if not better than thermal pads.

Pleasantly surprised, extremely effective for smaller pad replacement.
Long time technician of over 15 years experience, just providing my professional feedback on this goop. I was brought in an old poorly designed laptop, the heat sink had multiple thermal pads of different widths for various system components. Instead of ordering four different sheets of thermal pads I decided to give this a go, and I am extremely surprised at it's effectiveness. The laptop was randomly shutting down due to a north bridge idling at 80 degrees C, and going up to 110 with even moderate use. The other temps were also bad due to poor design, but within tolerance. I applied this goop, and did a burn in for an hour. Idling temp is now down to 50 degrees, and even under 100 percent cpu/gpu usage it never peaks beyond 80. Given the forum posts for the model this is actually lower than most reports of those who did Artic pads (I know these temps aren't ideal, but the fans on this machine are crap). I didn't expect this level of performance and will make it a constant staple of my tech kit from now on. Pros - Easily replaces any pads under 2mm. Versatile and very easy to apply. Produces excellent cooling compared to stock or other pads. Non conductive, so no worries about what it touches. Cons- Messy; I hate to be the tech who has to replace this the next time the heat sink is pulled off. This crap gets everywhere and you have to use a lot! It's hard to apply without creating air bubbles, which are obviously not what you want. For larger pads > 2.5mm the manufacturer seems to suggest copper shims sandwiched between two layers of K5, at which point you might as well just use thermal paste and have to be cautious about conductivity. Tldr; good stuff will buy way more!

Don't expect a big improvement
You can use it to replace thermal pads (not paste) and it will do its job, however, its main advantage is to avoid the hassle of choosing the right thermal pad size, performance wise it does not offer any improvement in cooling over the regular thermal pads. And while you don't have to worry about thermal pads sizes this product is quite messy and will be much harder to clean up than a regular pad. (30 grams are enough for a normal application on a laptop).
