While this product is well made. It would have been nice to have a sheet naming all the shapes. I had to be googling the different shapes to teach my child. No shame in my game that I don’t know all the shapes. So I encourage the product developers/designers to add a little leaflet with information on how to use the product

Has provided hours of fun!
Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, he has had hours of fun with it. Loves putting the shapes in the correct spots but also enjoys using the blocks to stack and build towers. Only thing he's had difficulty with is learning how to slide the "top" back into the groove. It only goes in one way because it isn't an exact square, and that frustrates him. If they had made it a perfect square it would be much easier for the little ones to be able to close it on their own. Wood is decent quality, and colors are pretty and bright.

For kids who love shapes, this is a MUST HAVE!
Omg! My daughter is obsessed with shapes and absolutely loves this toy! We are a big Melissa & Doug family and we love their wooded toys. This cube is fun and has 12 shapes! The only thing I will say that I don't like about it is the method to retrieve the shapes once they have been inserted. You remove one side of the cube by sliding the side out. The side slides out very easily and therefore slides out ALL the time! Not just when you are wanting it to! Otherwise this toy is amazing!
