Good Value for what it offers
This was our first time purchasing a dehumidifier after a lot of research online. We recently had our bedroom made airtight and suddenly the humidity was staying around 75% all the time and we could feel the moisture when we slept. It works well. We don’t find the noise too loud and have easily slept with it running in the background. It takes the humidity from 75% (ish) to around 45% to 50% in under an hour which is impressive. But you have to keep it running (or as we have set up - on one hour and off one hour during the night). The first night it filled the bucket and has gotten close most nights since. The app is decent as you’ll get for a smart life app but I would recommend getting the machine with wifi if you can. It just allows so much more freedom to control it and it’s easier to use the settings on the app. Overall would highly recommend based on having it over a week.

Works great in our salon!
The WiFi option is great as I can turn it on and off at home and still see the humidity. I still need to switch it on though to see the humidity. It would have been better if you could see it on standby mode but it’s not a big problem. We use it in our salon during the night when the electricity is cheaper. It’s pretty quiet and is very quick at bringing the humidity down to a good level.

Does what it's supposed to
This dehumidifier is a nice sized piece of kit and the operating instructions are clear and easily understood. Only a couple of things let it down, it's advertised with a permanent drainage feature, unfortunately the supplied drain hose is just over a meter long, not long enough in my opinion for reaching a drain and I see no point in draining to a bucket. There's no carry handle on the water tank and when full, it's really full and care is needed to carry the tank to empty it. It filled the tank quite quickly when drying washing and the tank is a lot smaller than our previous dehumidifier, so will require frequent emptying, it does have an auto cut-out so the tank can't overflow. The tank is on the rear of the unit and doesn't have a visual water level indication, to remove the tank easily, it needs turning around each time, good job it's on castors. Overall I think it will do the job it's been bought for, but there could be some improvements.

Poor Customer Service
I purchased the Devola Dehumidifier last year, and unfortunately, my experience with the product and the company's customer service has been far from satisfactory. In the final month of the warranty period, the dehumidifier started malfunctioning. I promptly sent it back to the factory, expecting it to be checked and repaired as per the warranty terms. However, communication regarding the status of my device was severely lacking. It wasn't until I reached out a month ago, nearly six months after they collected the device, that I received any update. To my surprise, I was informed that Devola had initiated a refund process with the distributor, Amazon, and that I should have received relevant notifications. However, after thoroughly checking my email and Amazon account, I found no records or indications of any refund application. To confirm the discrepancy, I contacted Amazon's Customer Service Team, who confirmed that no such application had been filed. They even provided me with proof of Devola's lack of refund submission. Frustratingly, when I forwarded this evidence to Devola's Customer Service Team, their response was to redirect me back to Amazon, repeatedly providing me with generic template messages. Based on my experience, I advise other customers who experience device malfunctions to consider requesting a refund directly from Amazon. This may help reduce Devola's workload and minimize the back-and-forth communication. However, it's important to be prepared for potential challenges in obtaining a refund. I had hoped for better after-sales service from Devola, especially considering the malfunction occurred during the warranty period. The lack of transparency, miscommunication, and their unwillingness to take responsibility for the repair (or refund?) process have left me dissatisfied as a customer. I urge potential buyers to consider these aspects before making a purchase decision. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Devola Dehumidifier due to its poor performance and the unsatisfactory customer service provided by the company. Please note that this review is based on my personal experience, and others may have had different experiences with Devola and their products. I hope this review accurately reflects the experience and advice and helps others make informed decisions.

Product works great but standoffish customer service
I ordered this item for my husband’s birthday and we have tried it out a few times since receiving it. It seems to be working well and can be easily controlled from our phone which is very useful. The child lock in it is a life saver as we have little children. I have been struggling with registering the item for extended warranty due to a technical issue on their website. I kept retrying it over a couple of days, but each time i got the same error screen. I left it for a while, hoping they would get the issue sorted. I then totally forgot about it, but when i retried it a month later I was still having the same issues. I contacted their customer service (39 days after ordering) and instead of getting help and them saying they would correct the issue on their website I was told that i should have tried contacting them sooner through other channels (phone, email etc)… Fair enough but absolutely not helpful… Anyway, no issues with the product so far, however customer service could be more helpful and compassionate.

Effective, good value, and not ugly.
I was having some mould problems due to high humidity in my kitchen/living area. This dehumidifier has fixed the problem. The sound level is reasonable, although we turn it off when watching TV nearby. The design is fairly unobtrusive. I find the water container a bit tricky to remove and replace, but this is a relatively minor concern.

Stopped Working after 2 years
Worked perfectly until it stopped working and then it was bust. Didnt last 2 years, wouldn't buy again
