Le Samson MD5 est un support de microphone de bureau compact et robuste, parfait pour stabiliser un micro lourd comme un rode podmic. Parfait pour voix off ou interview. Sa base en métal moulé de 15-16 cm de diamètre (environ 1 kg) évite tout basculement, même avec un micro lourd. Hauteur fixe de 12,7 cm (5 pouces) pour positionnement optimal sur bureau sans encombrer ton setup. Filetage standard 5/8”-27 compatible avec la plupart des micros/clips (y compris shockmount Samson SP01), fini noir mat discret et antidérapant. Idéal pour créateurs nomades ou studios fixes – utilisateurs confirment zéro vibrations grâce au socle alourdi, parfait pour longues sessions sans ajustements. Pas réglable en hauteur, mais son profil bas libère l’espace face cam Petit bémol : pas d’extension, donc limité aux micros desktop ; à ce prix budget, c’est un indispensable pour upgrader ton audio sans boom arm encombrant !

I don't usually read reviews that start with "I just received this and it's really good" because I like to hear about the experience of someone with knowledge of the product who has tested it over a long period. But this is a really simple and solid piece of equipment, so there is nothing to go wrong with prolonged use. I was delighted with my Rode USB microphone's performance, but disappointed with the flimsy plastic tripod stand that kept tipping over -- and i only got that yesterday. By contrast, this stand is heavy, it doesn't move, and the heavy microphone stays put. The stand has a soft ring underneath that protects my desk without having to put a cloth underneath, and, just as important, the ring grips the desk so that the base of the stand does not slide. I am grabbing the stand now and trying to move it sideways. It doesn't budge at all. I have to lift it. Don't be put off by the low price: this is a really good stand that feels like it will last a lifetime. If it didn't, it wouldn't break the bank to replace it, but I don't expect to have to do that. This is a totally unsolicited review; I am not getting any reward of any kind. I am grateful for a product that does what it says on the box and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
