I found it somewhat disjointed. I applaud the author's ability and her strengh to express with such candor the emotions and insecurities that we all feel (although hers seem to be turned up to 11). We have tested limits in relationships, from childhood, to employment, to romance and marriage. This book lets you see just how far that can go.For me, there was a bit too much candor. I'm a huge Sedaris fan, and she is a similar talent. To me, Weedman's stories feel a bit darker than his.Miss Fortune is a collection of autobiographical stories/essays, all of them highly personal. It's like she's inviting you inside her head, and her willingness to expose her humanity, her vulnerability, her mistakes is beautiful.
