seems like Manfrotto cut corners a bit
It works, but it's plasticky and though it grips the phone like a vise, I don't know how durable it will be over time. decent enough but doesn't inspire confidence like an all-metal constructed piece of gear would. of course it also comes at a plastic price point...

Best phone holder I bought.
This have been the best phone holder I've had. 1) Ive used this to have my phone Samsung S22 Ultra to stand up. 2) With a tripod stand, can be mounted by landscape or portrait. 3) the idea of having a lock to secure the grip is good. Highly recommended.

Great clamp for a smartphone - dual mount is excellent
This is a totally decent smartphone clamp - others have said that it's plasticky, and while it's true that it is made of plastic, it's robust enough for my use, and I don't feel like it's going to break any time soon. I gave it 4 stars for durability because of this, but that might be unfair - normal use is not going to damage it. Best feature of this clamp compared to others is that there are two positions to mount it on your tripod, so you can easily switch between vertical and horizontal for your phone. There's also a cold-shoe on the top of the mount when it's in the horizontal position, useful for holding a mic or a light. Being able to lock the clamp in place is a nice feature, but I don't find myself using it often - the spring force is more than enough. Overall a totally decent item, which I'd recommend.

Most secure mobile clamp in market as of now.
An absolute delight. I use a Samsung s10 with UAG plasma case. I had already tried two different clamps. The phone with case is very thick and still this one managed to clamp it in a secure way. I am using this with the Pixi Evo 2 and this is a wonderful addition to my smartphone photography gear. Highly recommended, the price is justified .. .
