Osprey Aether 65L Men's Backpacking Backpack, Black L-XL

I took this out on my first backpacking trip, and I was thoroughly impressed! I was really surprised on how much I was able to fit inside. Amazing design and it also came with a cover for the backpack in case it downpoured rain. Though it is waterproof for the light drizzles. Plus, I found it here on Amazon for $60 cheaper than I did see the exact same one at REI. Had tons of room, all the adjustment straps were able to make it really customizable to my size. I had zero issues and nothing but fun with this!

Great camping backpack with lots of compartments for my scout. The color is beautiful and one of a kind. Adjustable torso to fit the back comfortably.

Overall the pack performed as promised. Never had a problem with weight distribution. The adjustable waist strap was very comfortable on long days. The shoulder strap comfort was fine. It was a tad uncomfortable at times but it might just be an adjustment that needs to be made. I used this pack on a 8 day/7 night trip across the Bob Marshall Wilderness covering 85+ miles. The rain fly works just fine. Zippers on the waist strap can be a little difficult to close while wearing the pack. Everything held up to expectations. It’s a solid pack.

Lots of research went into this. Comfort was number one goal. I tried at REI and got a good discount through Amazon. I’m 47 and want to make sure a pack adjusts and is as comfortable as can be when loaded. My last one was a bit too small and always made me sore. This was perfect for me. Lots of functional use of space.

Design: This design checks most of my boxes in terms of ease of access, adjustable fit, compression straps, expandability, and heavy duty stitching. It does not have as many features as the Plus version (which includes a daylid (a lid that converts to a small backpack), more pockets on the lid and front panel, and slightly different compression strap arrangement. The extra features of the plus version are nice, but there's a lot to be said for keeping the pack simple. Fit: I have a fairly average 6ft build and I am able to get a good fit with the L/XL. The torso height adjustment is easy to understand but takes a little bit of fiddling. Fortunately you shouldn't have to play with that much. I would never recommend buying a backpack without trying it out first with some weight bags. Professional fitting advice is also recommended for the first time buyer. Drawbacks: -The side pockets on this pack would be okay if it weren't for the compression strap that angles across them. If you use side pockets for things like water bottles, this is going to bother you and is probably a deal breaker. -The opening and space available in the sleeping bag compartment are not that big, even with an adjustable divider. You will need a fairly compressible bag to make the space work because the lower part of the internal frame intrudes quite a bit.

Estuve buscando una mochila más liviana de 1,5 kg es cierto, era un punto y También me atraía la idea de calidad, funcionalidad, comodidad, durabilidad y equipo de fabricación con larga historia. Así que prevaleció en la balanza todos estos temas. La selección AETHER 65 fue perfecto. Felicitaciones al equipo por ponerle tanto cariño 4nnla elaboración de estos morrales (mochilas). Quizás al completar el Camino de Santiato pueda contarles de la experiencia con mayor detalle. Pero basado en muchos años de haber utilizado distintos modelos y marcas, estoy plenamente seguro que será muy grato utilizar vuestra creación. A la gente de Amazon, mucha gracias también, el detalle de la entrega y pues la atención aunque se basa en una interacción programada. Debo pedirles que presten atención para mejorar el proceso de juntar el pedido. Por alguna razón que aun ko entiendo, el sistema duplicó mi pedido (varías cosas) y por supuesto me cargaron a mi tarjeta. Lo cual podrían atajar o prevenir antes de hacer los envíos y los recargos en tiempo para ustedes. Aunque me encantan sobre todo la mochila y me gustaría tener dos pero comprenderán que 🤔 hace falta estirar el presupuesto para el Camino de Santiago. También paso con la carpa, que aun no recibo, será el 16. Y dos estufas, dos herramientas, otras dos estufas... imaginen todo doble... al principio hasta les escribí para informarles de una posible falla en el almacén... luego me percaté que fue otra falla al ver la carga a la tarjeta de crédito... ayyyy por favor deben ayudarme a resolver esto sobre todo con los ítem costosos. Ya una cocina la he regalado.... bueno un abrazote
