Worked perfectly out of the box. Easy to use with existing Optimate product cable. Great. I can now keep my mobile devices charged when out on my motorcycle.

Very handy if you have bags on the rear of your bike and the USB port is under the seat. All I have hanging out from under my seat is my SAE charging port. If my phone needs a boost I can now plug in the charger without having to remove the seat. Although it states that it will not drain the battery, I don't see why it needs to be connected long term in my case.

Keeps iPhone charged so can use satnav. But you do need to unplug it after use as I think there is a small current drain if left plugged in.

I am glad optimate has these and other gadgets to for the optimate lead.. Very handy and looks and feels well made a bit chunky too. I bought a cigarette style female socket but a few times the male section tends to wiggle loose disconnecting the power as the inside is to smooth nothing to grip the metal springs... I have bought this and a female socket for a tyre pump.If the optimate lead is attached might as well put it to some use with these things instead of just sitting there until the battery needs a boost. Supposed to shut off after a very short while to save your battery power until you re-start the bike.

No brainer

BEWARE. Misleading when it says will not discharge your battery. It will if you leave it connected for a while without running the engine or connecting a battery charger. On my small motorcycle battery it discharged it to 1.5V in three weeks of inactivity.

Did everything it should really handy

Works well, I run a usb cable under my bike tank frame and just disconnect when not in use. Bit pricey for what it is

I love going on a long drive now, and stopping with a phone 100% charged phone every time. No risk of being out of contact or without my music because of a dead phone battery.

Nota di pregio ... se la batteria della moto è leggermente scarica e potrebbe inficiare sull'avviamento del motore in automatico si scollega alla linea. Ottimo prodotto e impermeabile

Benutze diese schon seit über 10 Jahre für alle Motorräder in der Garage, spart das Ausbauen der Batterien. Bisher gab es keine Probleme bei den Bikes, außer bei der Harley, die ist da sehr eigen was das längere Laden über den Winter betrifft.

Bought these to use on motorcycles. Have 3 of them so they definitely work. They have an integrated switch that shuts them off if the power gets to low or 1 hour after the ignition is shut off. Have been using them for 3 years now with no issues.
