Apple 9.7-Inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi, 9.7" Tablet, 32 GB, Gold (MLMQ2LL/A)

My last iPad was the third generation and that was 4 years ago. Now it has gotten old and slow. So, two months ago I started to look at new devices. Surprise! My husband bought me the 12.9" iPad Pro. Very nice device but BIG!!!! So hubby took over the new IPad and I waited until the latest iPad Pro 9.7" was released. The 9.7" Pro is a bit narrower than the old iPads but has the same sized screen. Unless you have really big hands and long fingers the 12.9" Pro is unwieldy to hold as a tablet and to type. Also, the 9.7" Pro is much lighter weight than the older models full sized iPads and the same weight as the iPad Air. The graphics are exceptional as is the upgraded 12MP camera. It will not take the place of a DSLR camera for the camera buff but for me, who loves to take pictures of family, pets, and items to list on eBay, it is awesome. There is another feature that the camera does which is called a "live" shot. It is not a video but a mini snipit of about three seconds. This feature literally brings a picture to life. You hold your finger on the shot and it comes alive. It is the difference between taking a picture of a child as they blow out that first candle on their cake and actually seeing the child blowing it out. Amazing! As an long time iPad user I knew that I would need at least the 128GB for my apps, updates, pictures and music. Even though we subscribe to a 200GB iCloud storage plan it is amazing how quickly all that data takes up space. It would be a real shame to buy a device and skimp on something so basic. My first iPad did not have cellular and that was a big mistake for me, personally. Public wi-if is not secure so I was limited to take a risk and use it or go without. It was a real bummer when we lost power!!!!! Most cellular plans will let you hook up to 10 devices for $10 dollars each a month. This is a small price to pay to always be connected and to have your identity protected. Will this take the place of a desktop or laptop? For me it does 99 percent of the time. It is perfect for social networking, skyping, uploading pictures, writing documents and printing them off of a wireless printer and, of course, on-line shopping. If I was still in grad school or running a business then I would probably need a laptop or desktop. As with all Apple products they are intuitive. The set up is a breeze and if you have an issue the Apple support team is just a phone call away. I am loving my new iPad 9.7 Pro and I know you will, too! If you love Apple stuff you are going to love this. If you hate Apple, you will hate it, but if you are on the fence I strongly suggest you try it out, and you will love it. There is no comparison between an Android tablet and an Apple. Even the top of the line Android tablet is not nearly as responsive or reliable as an Apple iPad. I tried to hate Apple, I really did, and I went with Android, but after trying an iPhone and a tablet compared to my Android I realized that I was only punishing myself. Who cares if Apple gets to approve all apps on the app store, they actually do that to ensure that the apps don't crash, leak memory or have viruses in them. That's fine with me. There really isn't anything that I could do on my Android that I can't do on my iPad. That said, I don't jailbreak my iPad, and I pay for the apps that I use. If you are looking for a way around that then the Android is significantly easier. But, I love the interface on the iPad. When I touch the screen and move something, it instantly follows me, with absolutely no perceivable delay. I was amazed at how I had convinced myself that my Android did that, and just how tolerant I was of the poor user interface performance. But, now that I have this pro, I won't look back. As for the size, it is perfect for me. I went to the store, and the full sized pro is just too big. It is like a full sized laptop screen. This is smaller, it is what I consider a tablet. It has all the performance of the full sized, running desktop quality apps and games with absolutely no issue. I opted for the 32GB model, because I don't load up too much on it, but now that I can see what it does I am wishing I went with more memory, especially now that they have 256GB available. Even if you are an Apple hater, I strongly suggest you try one of these out. They are quite more expensive than a normal Android tablet, but try it out and you will quickly see why. The feel is solid and rugged, the case is a work of art, perfection. The user interface experience is second to none. I dare any Apple hater to use this, and still try to say that they hate apple with a straight face. PROS: Well built, super fast, ideal sized, light weight, and batter lasts for days for me. CONS: Price is high, and I cannot upgrade the storage size. But that is it.

excellent product , had this ipad pro over 12 months now with no problems great battery life and still as good as new(Had this now 4years and still as good as new and never let us down).

This is my first iPad ever and so far so good. I was able to get this tablet up and going without any difficulty. There was no "WOW" factor for me but the iPad seems to be built very well. I will update my review after a few months of use. Update* Years later and still looking good and running perfectly!

I have been used this iPad pro for a week. Generally speaking it's really good and the system is so fluent.

Does everything an iPad Pro is supposed to do but in an iPad sized tablet. Price was very competitive and delivery was prompt. Recommend both the iPad and the seller.
