They all had a device that emits a focused light beam, like a laser, just not through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation, which a general description of a laser. The difference is immaterial in the mouse as far as I can determine. These "otical source" mice have enough resolution to do HD graphics work. They work far better than the first lasers did, in fact. **Q: does this warn you when cap lock is on** A: I guess so. In Word Perfect there's a little box at the bottom of the window with AB on it. When you press the Cap Lock, it indents. When you press it again it pops up. There's no bells or anything like that.
