Dorayaki are traditional Japanese cakes often filled with red bean, custard or sweet chestnut. They are two sides of soft castella cake with filling, and are a favourite of Japanese robot cat Doraemon!‘Dora’ means gong and is thought to be the origin of the name Doryaki due to their shape. These good quality Dorayaki are marked with a traditional Japanese stamp and are filled with delicious chopped sweet chestnut and red bean. They are individually wrapped in easy to open cellophane and there are 5 Dorayaki per pack. Approx 9cm diameter.
