I'm a guy whose skin easily pigments and has an embarrassing scar. A healed abscess or whatever on my very upper thigh/lower butt. I've considered getting it lasered to reduce its appearance, and probably still will. In my mid 30s, I still didn't know the difference between foundation and concealer. So this is one of my first experiences with something so heavy duty. It isn't a perfect fix. And what actually bothers me about it is how sticky it is on the skin. You have to work awhile to get the color exactly right, but it's also a neat trick to be able to modify the color. And it stays on really well. I've gone to sleep with it on and also showered, and unless I'm scrubbing pretty intently, it takes a good day or more to really come off. A few washes. So it doesn't completely cover my scar but it's good enough to wear I don't know, sexy undies or a speedo or something when I feel like it without people being like "why is that bruise there?" For my money this has helped me a bunch and I do recommend it.

This product has great coverage and really does last. The first photo is a photo of a tattoo that I am a little embarrassed about when I am around my very conservative family. The second photo is my cover tattoo after swimming in a pool. Obviously my skin does not look great and it’s a little lumpy however the tattoo is not visible so with that I am pleased, especially since I was swimming in a pool. The next photo is of eczema that I am very embarrassed about on the back of my leg. I just tried to use the concealer to try and cover that as well and put a little pressed powder on top and I am very pleased with the coverage. I think the biggest bonus is the fact that I can make my own shades based off of the season and how tan I may be. That way I can use it on different parts of my body and alter the tone. I would recommend and will continue using it.

Although it took two tries to get the color match correct, the second effort came out perfect. I recently fell and sustained a very bad scrape on my shin (about 4 inches long). Unfortunately, I scar easily and once healed I was left with a very visible and dark red scar on the front of my shin - very unsightly with capris and skirts. This product covered it so well that there is absolutely no evidence of it. As indicated, my first attempt did not match my skin tone - way too dark. Due to that, I can attest that this product is definitely waterproof. Trying to remove the original application with soap and water failed. I then used the included oil which did work - although it did take a bit of scrubbing. I then mixed a new batch that was much lighter, using a very small amount of the darker pigment and tested it on a small area first and then applied it to the entire scar - it came out perfect. It has completely covered the scar for the last four days despite both daily showers and baths in my jetted tub. There is still no evidence of the scar!

I use this to cover my tats for work. I use a basic primer, then mix and apply the concealer with a big brush (like a paddle brush for makeup) because it saves the product, I wait for it to dry (maybe like 5 minutes) and apply setting spray. Once the setting spray dries, I use setting powder, and then spray one more time and it lasts most of the day without much transfer. I would give 5 stars if it came with a bigger supply of the concealers as $22 for two tiny concealers is kinda extreme. I use the oil given to remove it and it’s pretty easy to remove . You can use makeup remover or baby oil too, but if you don’t use those it will be kinda hard to remove.

I had high hope for this product because of the reviews however there were a couple problems. Some reviewers did say it took some time to get the right color match for your skin and that was true however, I practiced and did finally get there on about the 3rd try. My issue is was that I could never get the makeup to completely cover my tattoo. I don’t even have a super big or intricate tattoo. I just have a wrist tattoo in black that I wanted to cover for professional reasons. It did lighten it but it was still clearly visible. Secondly, it isn’t completely waterproof. I wanted to test it, so I took a bath with it on. I didn’t scrub it at all but I did soak for about 40 minutes. A substantial amount of the makeup came off. Lastly, it can transfer on to your clothing. I wore it with black pants and later that night I noticed I had a rub mark on my lap where my wrist transferred the makeup to my clothes. Luckily it came off easily in the wash. Also, I will say it does not come off your skin completely with soap and water. You have to use the oil.
