Great Device!
This thing works great. Using it on my ZBook 17 G3 with dual monitors. Sure, its seems to cost more, but considering you get a complete power supply with it, which alone is about $80, its not a bad deal. Read the other reviews because yes, you do have to install a few drivers and some firmware before using and make one Bios setting change. And even though it says to reboot after each driver install, just say no each time and do 1 reboot at the end. So with 1 reboot and 1 Bios change, the whole prep only takes about 15 minutes - its not a big deal at all. The device works great. You plug the thunderbolt cable into your laptop, hit the power button on the thunderbolt, and you running. No more plugging in USB and video cables all the time!

GARBAGE WASTE OF MONEY!!!
Didn't even work...like literally would not power on. It looks like the seller may be selling recycled electronics and rolling the dice on the ones that may work. Amazon should not allow sellers like this on the platform. Just see all the poor reviews. They aren't wrong. Don't fall for this scam...

Secure boot not supported
Well, that was a battle to make work with my Z Book. When the unit did a firmware update it would not allow USB or NIC to operate. After soooo many different approaches I found that SECURE BOOT in bios is not compatible with this unit. If you must use sexure boot skip this unit. Once that was resolved, everything works well and does what I expected.

Works great! Works as intended and does exactly what I need it to do.My doberman destroyed my last power pack for my ZBook 17 G3. Figured I would buy the Tunderbolt 3 Dock for it and get the power cord. Fantastic price on this. Didn't cost much more to buy this than just the power pack as a replacement from HP.

Bought this hoping to use it instead of the other style docking station. I have downloaded all the firmware to be able to use it and it still won’t connect with my zbook. Going to have to return

These docks have serious issues. HP support on these is garbage. Tried updating driver, BIOS, firmware, updates, really anything. They flicker between monitors and cut in and out. Absolutely horrible.
