Well, let me ease your mind. This case is absolutely great! Not only can she use its straps to carry it around with her like a lil purse, the handles work amazingly well. It feels as if it's made of a foamy substance but it protects the tablet quite well. She has dropped it so many times and it has saved the screen from cracking, and the entire tablet is still in excellent condition (minus the 2 small scratches on her screen she had previous to me buying this case to prevent more lol). I love this case! Wished they sold some like this for my Samsung phones as well. Who knows? They might... I've yet to look all the way through their seller's page.
