Irgendwann habe ich es dann getan und ich muß sagen, dass ich sehr positiv überrascht bin. Ich dachte, dass die kleine Maschine ständig stehen bleibt. Dem ist aber nicht so. Nur bei zu viel Kraft, oder wenn man verkeilt, bleibt sie stehen. Dies ist aber nachvollziehbar. Das Zubehör reicht für die gängigsten Arbeiten. Ich habe mir allerdings auch noch das Dreibacken-Futter von Proxxon dazu geholt. Als Drechselbeitel empfehle ich übrigens etwas hochwertigeres, als die von Proxxon für 40 Euro. Das kann nichts vernünftiges sein. Ich habe mir ein Set Mini-Beitel bei Dictum bestellt mit denen man ein gutes Anfängerset in einer guten Qualität erhält. Wichtig wäre ebenfalls, dass man nicht zu hartes Holz nimmt. Ich lese in den Rezensionen oft, dass diese Drechselbank nur ein "Spielzeug" ist, weil sie so klein ist. Das ist Quatsch. Diese Drechselbank ist eben auf Modellbau ausgelegt - wie viele andere Mini-Werkzeuge von Proxxon. Um ein paar Masten, Tischbeine oder Speichen zu Drechseln muß ich mir nicht gleich so ein Riesen-Klopper in die Werkstatt stellen. Hiermit werden eben kleinere Sachen gemacht. Kugelschreiber, Pikierstäbe, Kerzenhalter usw.
