Just like the one from the Hospital I felt it ran extra small
Great product just like the doctor order. Same quality as the Medium we got from the hospital. Well build great quality and value for the money. Cheaper than the pill box here if you are familiar with that store. I was just surprised to see how small it was as the medium is about 2 to 3 sizes too big so I figured a small would fit great. Sadly it didnt but it was worth the try. I would have no issues buying here again. I wear women's usa size 4 to 6 which small to begin with. Great support and ease of no. No issues at 78 years old getting it on and off. Sadly I needed foot surgery. Happily, I FOUND this product certainly does the job of protecting your foot to keep the pain away

Supportive post op shoe Iโm growing to like more, with each day of use
I wear Darby-style post op shoes due to an injury and the accompanying surgery on one of my feet. I have gone through many different shoes and cam boots over the years, and recently, many different types trying to find a shoe that provides support, stays secure, isnโt too heavy, provides just enough flex, and that is comfortable to wear all day long. I only use my shoes for a few months at a time, because even after washing, they still smell like feet...and I canโt get the smell to go away. I purchased these shoes because of the simple one piece strap over the front of the foot, and the ankle support that was just a little higher than your normal post op shoe. I wear a size 10 shoe and these fit my feet comfortably, not too snuggly, and the Velcro strapping allows me to provide varying degrees of compression, fastening, and support. When I walk, I do not feel that the shoe rules very smoothly, as compared to one of my other shoes, where the back of the heel is better shaped for walking. After wearing the shoe for a couple days, however, my gate and walking pattern change to accommodate the shoe, and I no longer feel like I have a brick strapped to the bottom of my foot. These shoes clean well and easily with a warm rag and a little soap, and I really enjoy wearing them. The top of the foot and toebox area requires constant readjustment for me throughout the day, but that is due to my condition, and not the quality or design of the shoe. I like the ankle strap, however the non-sticky side, as with most of these postop type shoes, slides down word towards the top of my foot, but this affects only aesthetics and does not affect the comfort performance of the shoe. The bottom tread of the shoe is wavy with tread that is probably a 16th of an inch in depth, and it is very easy to clean with a rag and hot water, or with a nylon brush. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and find it to be a fair and reasonably priced product considering market conditions. Iโm curious to see, How it will look, feel, and smell, in a few months, with continued use and washing.

Great product from a fracture pro!
This product works great for broken toes or broken feet. It is a great transitional product from a cast or boot, although I ordered the shoe immediately. I have had numerous "adventures" with foot surgery, falls, etc, & have broken the 5th metatarsal on each foot. I know the difficulties of using a heavy orthopedic boot both as a nurse AND a patient; they're a pain to get on & off, they're VERY heavy, & it is painful to slide the foot back into the boot. This shoe was SO much better as soon as it arrived!!!! I cannot tell you that it was as supportive because it isn't. It lacks the steel rods on the sides of the ankle, so if you need to keep the foot from rotating (i.e. a sprain or a metatarsal fracture) this may not work early on. But this was like a breath of fresh air for my broken foot. It slides right on to get out of bed in 2 seconds, & it doesn't hurt to GET it on. The Velcro holds it tight, & it has worn well; I've been in it 2 weeks. Fractures hurt like Hell, as anyone who has had one knows. Time & stability are what help the pain. This shoe is great for the price; the sizing was correct, & it is not HOT & heavy. The best part is that it's not killing my back from the rocking motion of having one hip significantly higher than the other. I wish I had one of these with any of the other fractures I have lived through; great shoe!

Working Man
Pain in my right foot to bend my toes upward. I don't know how I injured myself, but the pain was in the region of my first metatarsal. As a manual labor man, I have to insure the lazy, but don't get insurance. The only rational solution, no matter the actual problem, seems to be immobilization. A doctor bill is out of the question, and this post-op shoe is much cheaper than the fine for not having insurance, so I bought one. I wear a size 10 shoe, and I ordered the large size. It is huge. At first I thought to return it, but then I realized it was large enough to fit over my shoe. Seeing the onset of winter, I decided that a shoe over my shoe might be good. Soon, I was walking like the short-legged man that I was, so I bought another shoe to make my legs match so nobody would think I was injured, and should stop working, which would stop my income. After a short time, I discovered that the shoe was not rigid enough and I could still bend my lower foot and hurt myself. So I cut a piece of wood and inserted it between the post-op shoe and my regular shoe. People did notice, but it really didn't attract to much attention. My shoes are easy to take on and off without removing the post-op shoes separately. Winter is here, and as you can see in the picture, my shoes have an uneven coat of wetness and salt. It is possible that my foot is healed, but the post-op shoes are easy to wear and help keep my shoes dry in the slush. Considering the side benefits, and the harm if I stop wearing them early, I'll probably keep wearing them till spring. In summary: Given a wooden insert to make them super stiff, they are the best thing imaginable. Easy to wear, easy to remove, cheap enough to buy another as a leveler for the other foot, and they don't look like a cast. Minus the salt, glue, and other working deposits, they actually look good, and blend in well with my regular shoes.

Ortho Office Would Have Charged $45
Yup. Ortho office would have charged the insurance $45 for this. I didn't want to potentially get stuck paying $45 so the nurse found the exact one she was going to dispense to me for under $20, next day delivery. Now, my foot was already healing when I had the x ray done and the report QUESTIONED if my foot was even broken. A question mark was in the report! I had to go to the ortho office to confirm that my foot had been broken. I even put this in a lingerie bag and put everything in the washer at least twice. As time went on and I became more mobile, the ankle strap hurt my ankle a lot. By the end of my time wearing it, I was very mobile and my foot had healed.

Well built, didnt help me
I try to not to write bad reviews but here goes. I went to the Dr, have swollen bones in my foot along with tendonitis. They recommended I stay off my foot and use a boot. The boot they have in their office and they recommend was $250!! What!? No way. They also said if I wanted to buy my own, to try a Post op shoe. So that's what I typed into amazon and found this item, far less than $250. To start, I wear a Mens 12 or 13 shoe, so I bought the xtra large. When I received the shoe, it sticks out a good 2 inched from the end of my toes! Honestly that didn't bother me too much because I knew I would bump it into things, and a little extra protection wouldn't hurt. But the shoe is crazy long and is really hard to drive in, so keep that in mind. Overall the shoe is well made, the foam in the bottom is what I expected, and its a flat soled shoe. Onto the bad: The strap around your ankle is a little on the thin side, and knowing it might cut off circulation, I tried to fasten it loosely, but after a while it still cut off circulation and hurt my foot. Also, I have crutches I'm supposed to use most of the time, but I was supposedly able to put weight on this foot occasionally. Well every time I did it was very painful. Apparently I know have flat arches and this shoe caused more pain, and I even started having new heel and ankle pain! SO after 2 weeks of wearing, and my foot hurting worse and worse, and then swelling all down the arch of my foot, I took it off. I ended up going back to the Dr, buying the 250 boot, and it is ALOT better for me. Its a "rocking" boot, and also has a better arch support built into the bottom and I can actually take small short walks in it without cringing in pain. SO: The quality of this shoe is great, it just didn't work for me. The thing I would change though is the ankle strap. It needs to be thicker or have some kind of foam pad under it to keep from losing circulation

Perfectly comfortable & flexible for my needs!
My stinging toe could hardly wait for this shoe! As soon as it arrived I put it on but had to cut back the front flap to remove it from contacting my small two toes one of which is missing its NAIL OUCH!! My doctor told me to keep toes on this foot well ventilated since they are also swollen (edema) and this shoe works PERFECTLY! Also I added a pro-foot arch support inside to prevent arch pain & secured it with a 3M foam adhesive pad!

These are pretty nice and good value for the money...
These shoes look a bit weird but sure do the trick! Easy to get into - cinch up - and start motoring! I bought 2 of them to make a pair as I suffer from lower leg edema (fluid retention). I chose to sew a small extention strap to the end of what's provided as my insteps are swollen but for most what's given should suffice. The inside foot tread could be a bit better cushioned however as they seem to feel a bit "hard" on my foot bottoms. Heavier socks might help some here however...

Medium boot fits womens 11-12 perfectly
sizing chart accurately represents the product, arrived quickly in good condition. Great alternative to a full soft aircast.

Scarpa idonea frattura
Comprato per frattura al mignolo. La scarpa con la suola rigida va benissimo per questo tipo di frattura. La misura รจ giusta.

Great
The shoe completely did the trick. After breaking my foot my foot was too swollen to wear a regular shoe.

Comfortable Foot
This shoe is light weight and smart my podiatrist said they are purchasing this brand to use with patients. It is easier to use the Velcro on the shoe to fit the size of my foot with various dressings.
