I use these in my elementary special education classroom. I initially got them because the florescent lighting would trigger my migraines and cause a lot of pain during a migraine attack. As a result, I would have the lights in my room off often, but that is not always conducive to learning. These attached very easily to the lighting in my classroom, and have greatly decreased the frequency of migraines that begin while I'm working. They have also helped create a more relaxing classroom environment. The lighting is not as harsh, and definitely feels more "homey" in the classroom. They do give a blue tint, and it did take a bit of getting used to, but my students and I have all adjusted well and prefer the lighting in our classroom to some of the other classrooms that don't have the light covers. I have recommended these light covers to colleagues, and would purchase them again as well.

I bought two packs of these and have them spread throughout my classroom covering about half of the lights. At first I didn't notice a huge difference, but as all my classes came in each period, many students commented on how different it was, and how much they liked them. Now, when I move between my room and the hallway or other rooms, I do notice the difference. It is calming and causes less eye strain. I am thinking about adding more to cover the rest of the lights. I might do the white ones so it doesn't get TOO blue. I teach science so I need to ensure adequate lighting for labs. It also helps with glare off of the smartboard. One tiny negative (that doesn't bother me much) is that they are creased from the packaging, and that hasn't seemed to improve in the 6 or so months since I put them up. They also gap between the magnets, but that's not a big deal to me either.

Using a classroom with special needs students - reduced complaints of room being too bright, and reduced complaints of headaches and eyes hurting from students and adults. Appears to have a calming effect on students and adults. Easy to install, but if lights are on a high ceiling will need a ladder. Pleased with the purchase; would recommend them without hesitation.

The only reason I am giving this product a 4 instead of 5 is due to the fact that it could use a few more magnets. I added magnets to it and it works great! It is bright enough to see but gives a nice blue hue instead of that blinding fluorescent light I used to have. My students have already said they love it!

I have eight flourescent lights in my 1st grade classroom, and I bought one set of these tranquil blue light filters to try in my room last year. (The store only had one package in stock.) I have looked everywhere for another set, because they made such a difference!! I think the filters had a tremendous calming influence in my class. I also have autistic children mainstreamed into my classes, and it REALLY seemed to help them settle down. I have also noticed over the years that students get headaches in the afternoon (I know I get them from the flourescent lights myself), and we did not have nearly as bad a problem last year with headaches. I HIGHLY recommend this product, especially if you have a lot of children with ADHD or autism. They were also incredibly easy to put up, because of the magnets in the edges & on the corners. They fit perfectly on the lights, and went on, literally, in seconds.

I use these light filters in my classroom on four of the lights. The other two lights do not have filters. The filters hang down a tiny bit on the side in between the magnets, so it is not a perfect, snug fit. It is not enough to bother me at all. I love having the filters on!!! The kids call them the peaceful lights. It is a nice mix of calming blue hues and a little bit of bright light. When I walk into the hallway I can instantly feel the intense lights without filters. I do notice some relief from bad migraines this year. I'm wondering if the filters have been helping that...

These were very easy to install. The magnets hold strong to the drop ceiling frames. As soon as I put them up I noticed a difference with the brightness of the fluorescent lights. It has definitely helped with headaches I used to get all the time.

We recently moved to a new office building where there are WAY too many bright florescent lights, directly above our workspaces. After attempting to work for 3 days, I started looking for a product to diffuse the light so that it is not so blinding, as I had a headache all day every day. After finding these, and installing them in less than 30 seconds, my workspace is a nice diffused shade of blue. "Tranquil" definitely is a good way of describing them! My co-workers all loved it as well and plan on buying some for above their desks. Before purchasing, I would make sure that your light fixtures are metal so the magnets to install these with will work. Not sure if all of them are metal, but I was worried that ours were not once I realized how these install (luckily they were).

With long Covid…light is painful some days. Frequent headaches. This really does the trick. It soothes the light and creates a soft and tranquil ambiance to work in. Students like it.

Love these! Takes the glare away and makes the work day so much more comfortable. I wish I bought these earlier! I have had less headaches and hoping it helps stop migraines from developing too. Super easy to install. Just use the sewn in magnets to stick to the ceiling tile frame and voila!

Put these up around my office and they work great . I wish they add a few more magnets as they can sag in spots but other than that everyone at office really enjoys them
