how do you dispose of the solution after use?

A couple of ways. I dilute it and then poor it on my drive way. Cleans the driveway. Dilute it and poor it down my sink. It's lye used to unclog drains. If you add just as much vinegar as you do sodium hydroxide, it neutralizes the solution.
