Review: Great learning toy, kids love them! - I'm an early intervention teacher and use these in my classroom with two and a half year olds. They get a lot of use (the kids love them so much we do a lot of work on sharing!) And have held up really well. I love that they are so versatile - you can work on colors, number recognition, counting, sizes, and even do pretend play with the figures. As others have said, they do not "snap" together, but hook together instead. My kids have no problem hooking them together and when hooked they can be pulled across a tabletop like a train. This is a popular toy during my zoo unit. Review: This is an adorable toy that grows with the child. - I used this toy for my grandson's birthday. He is now 2 and loves elephants. He also loves to put things into container and take them out again, so this was a natural choice. A bonus was that the lid screws on and off very easily so he was able to figure it out quickly. The elephants were also the perfect size-not too big or too small. They are numbered so his 4 year old sister uses them for counting and hooks them together to make an elephant number line. I was delighted with my purchase! ## Features - Reinforce number recognition (1–10), sequencing, color matching and fine motor skills with these Counting Elephants - Scaffolded to give little learners a helping hand- each blanket is color-coded to match the creature that comes next in the sequence - Set includes 5 small and 5 large plastic easy to clean elephants, and sturdy storage bucket with lid - Large elephants measure 4 1/4"L x 2 1/4"H - Ideal for ages 2+ ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004DJ66EI | | Age Range Description | Adult,Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #601,584 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #5,061 in Educational Science Kits | | Brand Name | Learning Resources | | Color | Multi-color | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 488 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Reinforce number recognition (1–10), sequencing, color matching, and fine motor skills. | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00765023867039, 76502386703962 | | Included Components | Counter toys | | Item Dimensions | 5.5 x 5.5 x 7.5 inches | | Item Type Name | Counting Elephants | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Learning Resources | | Manufacturer Part Number | LER6703 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 Year Warranty Against Manufacturer Defects | | Manufacturer recommended age | 24 months and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | LER6703 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 4 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Set Name | Counting Elephants | | Size | Toddler+ | | Sub Brand | learning | | Subject Character | Animal | | Supported Battery Types | No batteries required | | Theme | Animal | | UPC | 885310313718 885211654378 885765695155 765023867039 100029745965 885183697632 659213172310 885142238784 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Counting Elephants - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71RZ079PzpL.jpg) ![Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Counting Elephants - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811aFYTupsL.jpg) ![Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Counting Elephants - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51IwFwMBi4L.jpg) ![Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Counting Elephants - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51O3L11i9pL.jpg) ![Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Counting Elephants - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51mFuue1O5L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great learning toy, kids love them! *by Q***R on December 16, 2017* I'm an early intervention teacher and use these in my classroom with two and a half year olds. Great size for little hands, nice bright colors and very durable. Now that she's two, she can join the elephants together and she knows how to count from 1 to 10. Even my four year old loves to play with this.
