Souped Up Recipes Carbon Steel Wok for Electric, Induction and Gas Stoves (Lid, Spatula and User Guide Video Included)

I love this pan! It’s a great quality pan that I’ve been using now for about a year. It’s so easy to clean using just hot water and a pan scrubber (never soap!). I then leave it to thoroughly dry on the warm hob or oven after use then add a teeny tiny drop of oil and rub it all over the interior surface with a slice of kitchen roll. This keeps the surface dry and shiny ready for next use and by making sure it’s thoroughly dry, it’ll never rust! The handle removes easily so it’s great for storing it away after use (I keep mine in the oven!) The surface stays beautifully non stick provided you dry and oil it after each use and cook with plenty of oil to coat the pre-heated surface of the pan. I’ve used the pan to deep fry, stir fry, poach and steam (using a wire rack and the supplied lid), so it has MANY uses. The price offers value for money for a pan that will last forever and has so many uses. The more you use it, rinse it and oil it, the better the cooking surface will become. These pans need continual seasoning. Mine still looks like new after a year!

Authentic wok. Remember this is not typical teflon non stick wok so you need to have some skills to know how to use it properly. It needs high heat. If you don’t follow proper process your food wok stick very badly. But if you learn how to cook properly with it, you’ll make the best asian dishes at home. What else can I say, but wow! This wok is a game changer. Use correctly and you won't need a take away again. Fantastic quality and adds a new dimension to you cook. Also the spoon is cracking shape and size and perfect for flipping...stirring and serving your food. Worth every penny.

Wanted a traditional carbon steel wok for a while - influenced by the Youtube channel I decided to give this one a go. Bigger and heavier than i expected. Has a hammered finished inside, this may be the "preseasoned" coating. We've cooked a variety of dishes in it and so far I'm really impressed. It heats up very quickly, has great non stick properties thanks to its surface finish and its easy to wipe clean. I'll give it another review after 6 months to see how its standing up to longer use

As soon as I unboxed this wok there was something about it that made me want to use it. I have been using it and cleaning it as instructed in the manual/video. I don’t usually post reviews but I have got to say I like everything about this wok. I like the handle, the lid, the shining black finish and most of all I like using it. I recommend this product

Have moved from a teflon coated wok to this carbon steel wok on an induction hob. It is wonderfully reactive to the temperature changes, just like cooking with gas. Have had it over 2 months now and had no problems with rusting or sticking. Easy to clean. Highly recommend, but if you are looking for a teflon wok, this is not it and it does not behave the same. If you're not willing to care for it properly then go buy a teflon wok. A lot of negative reviews here that point to user error rather than a poor product.

Regarding all instructions wok gone bad after few months. I see chipping of the non-stick coating. While the product description mentions it's made of carbon steel and doesn't have a non-stick coating, I see flaking or chipping of the seasoning or coating after a few uses and some parts have completely lost the coating. Food was also turning black and I was thinking it is iron which is making food black but I now realise slowly all the coatings are coming off and contaminating the food. I have always followed the care instructions despite this product has not lived upto standard. I feel disgusted and worried after eating those black flakes mixed with food. No trust left.

the wok, great, the spatula, good, the price, for the carbon steel wok alone, amazing, the extra's are a bonus the problem... the package had been opened before it got to me, its seal was taped back up as if i would not notice, i don't think its a seller problem, i think it was in delivery since its box was in a plastic parcel seal before going into the paper amazon one i received it in

Genialer Wok! Nach kurzem Einölen ist der Wok startklar und es bleibt auch nichts kleben. Er ist absolut kratzfest - was das Ziel meines Kaufs war, da ich keine Teflon Beschichtung mehr haben wollte.

Fijne wok. De houten deksel is handig om even de pan af te dekken. (Mosselen bv) Nu was ik hem af met heet water. Even paar seconden op het vuur om echt goed droog te worden en dan lichtjes invetten met olie Bakt niet aan.

Een prachtige gehamerde grote wok, stevig zwarte kleur material en werkt op inductie, wat leuk is dat als je je gerecht nog warm wil houden gebruik je het houten deksel dat precies op de pan past, Je krijgt er ook nog een inoxen spatelschep bij om je gerecht om te zetten en later je eten op je bord te scheppen. Ik weet nu al dat dit mijn lievelings wok wordt die ik ooit had. Gerechtjes komen in YouTube, dus je kan ze alle momenten opzoeken, Ik ga er alvast plezier aan beleven 🥰🥰🥰
