**Q: What is the strainer made of?**
A: I got the white one and it arrived with a 100% plastic strainer and lid.  I don't mind the lid but the mesh being plastic?  No thanks.  Thankfully I have other strainers from another manufacturer.

**Q: Can a replacement lid and strainer be purchased?**
A: Yes.. you buy a separate strainer

**Q: Does the lid snap on the strainer, or just rest on it?**
A: The lid rests on top of the glass.

**Q: Can this product be used in the microwave?**
A: My wife uses it and says that it’s ok for the microwave.
