Tremendous product. Have a new black vehicle and noticed large bird droppings on the lift gate. NOTHING would take them off. Tried to wash them off, use club soda, liquid soap...nothing worked. so I searched amazon and found other users who said it works on bird droppings. OUTSTANDING! Plus it eliminated the small scratches around the area where I tried other methods. All gone, and finish is perfect.

I purchased Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze M105 Ultra Cut Compound for correcting heavy swirls and paint defects, and the performance is excellent for a product in this category. This compound has strong cutting power and works quickly to remove deeper scratches, oxidation, sanding marks, and heavy swirl patterns. It is especially effective when paired with a dual action or rotary polisher. The formula cuts aggressively but still finishes surprisingly well for a heavy compound. On most clear coats it leaves only light haze, which can be easily refined with a finishing polish like M205. The working time is good, and the compound does not dust excessively when used properly. A small amount spreads far, so the 8 oz bottle lasts longer than expected. M105 is also versatile. It can be used by hand for spot correction, though machine application produces the best results. I used it on several vehicles with different paint hardness, and it consistently delivered strong correction with minimal effort. Even deeper defects that other compounds struggled with were noticeably reduced or fully removed. Wipe off is manageable as long as you do not overwork the product. It performs best on clean, cool surfaces and delivers a noticeable improvement in gloss even before finishing polish is applied. The only drawback is that beginners may find the learning curve slightly steep due to the fast cut. Using the right pad and speed settings is important to achieve the best finish. Overall M105 is a powerful and reliable compound that delivers professional level correction at a great value. For removing heavy defects and restoring clarity to paint, this is one of the most effective products you can use. Meguiar's M105 was awesome. It took out the buff swirls on the bonnet just using a hand held foam applicator, However it does not work with a foam applicator as shown on the Meguiar's site with paint faded surface. Another site showed you use a coarse cloth like a face washer and some pressure which I did and it worked you could actually see the difference as this product removed the sun fade and restored the full paint shine underneath. This will be my go to in the future.
