does the pillow come so far under the chin that it is uncomfortable    ?? some reviews so "too hard" is there some "give" to it??

It is made of memory foam. It is not a plushy soft pillow,but it is not as hard as some of those "health pillows" filled with various beads. I have a regular pillow made of memory foam pieces in layers that I love because it gives support to my neck and upper shoulders along with my head,but some people said it was too firm and returned it. My Mom is a "snowbird' and I bought this neck pillow for her especially for the trips back and forth from western NY to FL. My stepdad also lokes to borrow this on the couch for his lower back. It has some give but is a firmer pillow. Hope that helps.

Does this pillows suit for my noise cancelling headphones(https://www.amazon.com/dp/b019u00d7k?psc=1) when long flights?

I suspect that the headphones might be okay but there may be some interference. The pillow is close to the bottom of the ears. My uncertainty is because I don't know the size of your ear pieces. They vary a lot in size.

This says buyer beware & ships from uae. another travel mate (r) in grey says manufactured in usa. how do we know which is legit?

As of 2/1/2020 If you are a Prime Member the first one that comes up is the Prime with Free Returns option. Under the "Buy Now" button it says it is sold by TravalMate and Fulfilled by Amazon, so that is definitely legit. You can see other sellers though by scrolling down past the Wedding Registry button to the box that says "New and Used". Click the box to open a page of all the sellers where you have access to info like their name and shipping rates, seller page etc.  Personally I stick to items fulfilled by Amazon to help avoid issues.

Does it have a loop to attach to luggage?

Yes, the loop is less than a foot long.  But this should be long enough to attach to standard luggage.
