Q: What is the source for this? Are the peas organic? Are these peas from China?

I was told that the peas are grown in the US and Canada but the product is processed in China. Now foods tests the product before and after the processing for metals, etc. Call Now if you have any doubt because of all these confusing answers! I did and I'm going to buy the product because they were helpful and answered all my questions, the phone number is 888-669-3663 and select Nutrition, I spoke to a very knowledgeable person

Q: Why does your add say, "Whey protein has the highest protein." I don't want whey, I want pea protein.

The description on Amazon does have the statement about whey. My guess is someone at Amazon entered the wrong info. Per the container this is 100% Pure, Non-GMO Pea Protein isolate from yellow peas. Also I can tell you I like peas but detest split pea soup. I had to play around with the amount of this powder to use so I didn't feel like I was drinking pea soup. From that, I know this is pea protein. Hopes it helps.

The tub says: Product of China. Packaged in the USA.

Q: is this product gluten free? my wife is celiac and even the possibility of cross contamination is a major proble.

It clearly states on the bottle that it doesn't contain gluten or the other allergens, but it is manufactured in a facility that processes items that do contains those allergens. I think cross contamination is a definite concern if you are sensitive.
