I’ve always wanted a tool to do professional wire crimping on my projects and this tool is perfect for it. When I first got it I was a bit confused as to how it was different from my other tools so I did a test on one of my terminals with a wire and was blown away. It folded the terminals over and down exactly like the terminal I removed from my car. I wish I’d bought this years ago, instead of just crushing the terminals onto the wire this tool neatly grabs the wire and won’t let go. If you do a lot of wiring projects and are tired of having to solder every cut wire, buy this tool it’s worth every penny.

If you're crimping your own servo connectors these are THE crimpers to get unless you're lucky enough to have found a set of real deal AMP or Dupont crimpers. The key is these have a series of round dies which are required to properly OEM crimp ends with zero fuss. These spit out damn near perfect crimps every time for RC stuff (and do a very good job on standard double-d crimps as well). A little expensive for most folk, but a very good alternative for people that know what good crimper usually cost (100s to k's of dollars).

Great tool but a little mis-aligned so the crimp isn't always clean.

You may look at the price and scoff but you get what you pay for with this type of crimper. And what you get with the Hozan P-706 is a simple, robust and versatile crimper that does it's specific purpose without fail or frustration everytime and will continue to do so; given you use and maintain them properly. Highly recommend, buy it on sale if you can.

If what you're after is a quality pair of open barrel crimpers, look no further. The precision of these crimpers is on par with just about any other tool you could buy. Nothing fancy or trick about them, just made to get down to business and do a quality job of the crimping you're doing. They're not cheap but well worth what you'll be paying for such a high quality tool.

It's ok, but not great. Works well for tiny metric/ jap electrical connections, but nothing bigger. If you're looking for something similar to the Super Crimper from K&L, this is not it. Although it works good for the really tine connections like for injectors, not so much for regular ones on motorcycles.

Makes perfect crimps after a little practice.

The is the ONE barrel crimper tool to keep in your tool chest. Same quality and precision for crimps as the Engineer PA-09 and PA-20, but instead of two tools you can do them all with this one. It is a multi crimp process, but it does what it says and it does it well. This tool is a keeper.

These things really are a Swiss army knife of crimping. They crimp so many connectors, so well!! If you're into electronics, you really do need a pair of these in your toolbox.

This crimper is the best one I ever purchased, it works really really well on small open barrel terminals. I wish I found this long time ago since I wasted a lot of money on other crimpers.
