So when I call Comcast to connect my XB6 they said sorry we do not sell our XB6 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Scam *by A***R on June 7, 2021* Item advertised as "Comcast XFINITY Arris XB6 xFi Advanced Gateway Modem" but it could not be used with Comcast Xfinity. I was informed by Xfinity staff that this modem was blacklisted; likely stolen. I was out the money as a failed to return in time due to major distraction at home dealing with the post-polar vortex mess at my Houston home -- no water, no power, broken pipes. Seller did not reply to my outreach. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Activating issues *by C***S on January 26, 2021* The problem was with activating the modem. When I tried to activate this modem, the Xfinity app could not recognized this modem. I called Xfinity and they told me that they don't support modems sold by the 3rd party. It took multiple calls and whole day on the phone try to set up this modem with Xfinity. Finally they told me that they tried and could not activated the modem and that I should return it where I bought from. They told me only Xfinity can sell XFi modems. I told them that it was used modem not new. So I ask to return the modem back. When I got my return label and was packing the unit to be return, I thought to myself to try install one more time before I return it. I used the Xfinity app to scan the code and vola, it worked. It recognized the modem and allowed it to install and activate. It works great now, but it was a little struggle getting there. I cancel the return and don't have to pay $14 a month for it. ### ⭐ Buying a product that was Not what it claimed to be and charge restocking fee WHEN Y *by A***R on May 11, 2021* It was not unlocked, tried for hours to get to sink, finally after over an hour with Comcast tech and it would not work.And to charge 15 dollars restocking fee and it was shipped without being unlocked.
