Reliable and Comfortable Float Strap for Water Photography
originally bought this float strap for snorkeling, but decided to test it in a pool first to make sure it worked perfectly—I didn’t want to risk taking it to the ocean without knowing how it performed. It worked wonderfully. I submerged the floating strap in the pool and immediately floated back to the surface. I haven’t taken it to the ocean yet, but I hope it works just as well there because I definitely don’t want to lose my phone. I attached it to this case, and it seemed like the whole setup was integrated. A lot of people asked me where I bought it because they couldn’t take pictures with the same precision and safety as I could. I 100% recommend it if you don’t want to lose your phone at the bottom of the ocean. The strap is comfortable, especially when you’re in the pool, and it allows you to hold your phone in an ergonomic way. At first, I felt a bit insecure about the thin cord attaching it to the phone, but it seems to be made of strong material and everything worked just fine. I can’t wait to use it again in the ocean.

Works great!
Fast shipping! Great product, works great for floating my cell phone in a plastic freezer bag, very satisfied, also received for no extra charge a very pleasant surprise of two additional small wrist bands that are not floating worthy but yet very nice for out of water to help attaching to wrist cell phones or cameras! Thank you!

Underrated equipment for your cell or camera. Great Buy!
Underrated equipment for your cell or camera. It saved my phone from dropping to the bottom of the ocean. It kept it floating and the bright yellow made it easy to see. Must buy for any boating or swimming activities for your cell or camera.

Calculate Underwater Weight
I didn't know if this would work for me because it’s for cameras up to 7 oz or 200 grams. My Olympus TG-5 weighed in at 258 g (9.1 oz) but I decided to take a chance after calculating the underwater weight, which is what really matters for floating the camera. I measured the displacement of the camera by putting it in a measuring cup and filling it to 1 liter. I took the camera out and the level dropped to 800 ml so the camera displaced 200 ml. From that I calculated the underwater weight = 258 g - 200 ml * (1 g / ml) = 58 g. (Water weighs 1 g per ml.) I guessed that it would be able to float 58 g. After attaching one of the floats, I verified that it easily floated my camera. To get a better idea of the underwater weight capacity of the floats I used some combination wrenches. My 13 mm wrench floated easily. It has an underwater weight of 87 g - 11 ml * (1g/ml) = 76 g. A 14 mm wrench sunk quickly. It's underwater weight was 114 g - 14 ml * (1g/ml) = 100 g. You can get a much better idea of whether your camera will float or not by calculating the underwater weight this way. If it's close to or less than 76 g, it will float. If it's close to or over 100 g it will not float unless you use more than one float. It's comfortable, sized right and appears to be constructed well. I used it on a recent cruise in the caribbean and it worked great.

I like the two lanyard choices. One regular and one floating.
I like it. I didnt notice the extra lanyard that comes with it till it fell out. So it gives the floating lanyard and a regular one. I like it because i can switch t Both lanyards with eachother due to the clip that will work together. So, it will work on my dive case for my snorkeling trip and can switch it to my phone when i go boating.

It'll float with water you attach to it, long it's within the right weight.
Outstanding. It keeps keys, camera and phone safe from drowning.

works ok for some things
I'm using these with a iPhone 5s in a Lifeproof Nuud case, which all weighs about an ounce under what these say they will float, and that's what my test confirmed. They came with 2 plain straps as well which is handy. As far as using them, it depends what I'm doing, sometimes it's fine and sometimes it's a little awkward. (I though I'd leave this tucked in a pocket with the float hanging out while paddleboarding, but have discovered a neck strap with one of those stretchy silcone holders works better for that. But for kayaking or just being around the water this works out pretty well.) The cord is difficult to take on and off my particular case so I tried leaving just that part on when I don't want either wrist strap. That didn't work so well, the plastic piece on that side is rather thin and fragile when the 2 parts aren't snapped together. I wound up cutting the plastic connector off one of the plain wrist straps and leaving it snapped into the one one the cord on my phone, so it's like a little ball hanging from my phone. That has kept the current one from breaking. I wish the plastic connector seemed a bit sturdier.

Good product, good price. One is sufficient to keep my marine radio afloat, the other my camera.

Perfetto. L'action-cam galleggia. Dalla confezione sono usciti i 2 cinturini galleggianti (colori come da foto) e 2 cinturini normali.

These are awesome!. They come with an additional wrist strap so you can either use the flotation strap as a wrist strap or as the flotation device whilst wearing the smaller fabric strap. Its brightly coloured, a little bulky but fits into your bag. We used one primarily on our small waterproof camera whilst swimming in the sea. It gave us the freedom and security to know we wouldn't lose the camera if accidentally dropped (unlike the goggles we let go of accidentally). We purchased a second pack and used this on the waterproof mobile phone cover. Whilst we wore this on a lanyard around our neck the float have us confidence that it we accidentally dropped it, it wouldn't sink. We did test it and whilst the phone hung lower in the water, it did not sink. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone for use whilst on holiday.and using with cameras/phones

ob Handy oder Go-Pro, alles geht nicht unter wenn es nicht soll. Habs auch zum Tauchen mit der goPro, denn durch den engen "Armfreif" kann man immer mal loslassen und hat auch die kameraführende zweite Hand frei.

Purchased for my GoPro and works very well. Love that it’s bright colors so it’s easy to spot should you drop it in the water . It was also easy to attach to my GoPro. Can’t really think of any cons. I took it to Jamaica and used it for 14 days and still looks new so it’s a good quality float. The wrist band fit around my wrist easily and my bf also found it easy to wear,
