OWC 10-Port USB-C Dock with Mini DisplayPort to HDMI 4K Adapter, (OWCTCDK10PMHSG), Space Gray, For 2016-2018 MacBook Pro, 2018 iPad Pro, PC laptops

I was searching for a docking station that would work with my streaming setup, which included a second monitor, external SSD, audio interface, and capture card. My 2018 Macbook Pro couldn't handle powering all of those devices simultaneously, so I started down the rabbit hole of docking stations. I tried two other stations before getting on the phone with OWC and asking them if this dock would perform what I was looking for, and they were super helpful and confident it would. They were right! This dock works pretty well, BUT, I do have the same issue some have reported with the second display not working on wake-up. The mini displayport adapter that came with it was also broken when it arrived. Absolutely garbage little connector that is supplied. I had to purchase another miniDP to HDMI converter, but after that, it worked, sans the wake-up issue. All in all, I'm really happy to have this dock and have it doing all I ask of it. Besides the wake-up issue and the shoddy converter, it's been smooth sailing. I would recommend this.

matériel utilisé en double configuration MacBook Pro 13 2018 et windows 10. Supporte bien les 2 environnements et permet de basculer du PC professionnel au Mac perso instantanément sans avoir à rien débrancher ni déplacer. c'était le critère qui après de longues recherches m'a orienté vers cette marque Owc apparemment bien répandue dans l'univers MAC. L'alimentation remplace avantageusement les alimentations d'origine . Sur Mac pour ethernet l'ajout d'un programme a été nécessaire. Il a été enfin possible de supprimer le wifi et revenir à ethernet fut un vrai confort surtout en stabilité et réactivité, un wifi même correctement configuré étant constamment perturbé par la dizaine de box du voisinage. Dommage que les prises USB ne fournissent pas 20 W la recharge des téléphones est très très lente. Un port USB de plus aurait été apprécié, car avec un clavier / souris, un disque USB il ne reste plus que la prise de la face avant. Chauffe raisonnablement, dissimulé sous la table du bureau pour avoir un bureau presque dégagé de tout fil. testé avec un seul écran externe

For the life of me I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming fro in my studio. I disconnected things, tried my hum eliminator, everything. Finally, I removed this doc. I own 3 so I tried the other two.Same. Exact. Problem! The noise was coming from the dock. I have tow I use in my office and, one of them is constantly disconnecting my SSD drives. I gave up and bought myself a couple of Atollas....

Produit conforme en tous points à sa description. Cable USB type C un peu court néanmoins. Pour 150 euros, on aimerait ne pas être trop contraint sur le positionnement de son ordi tout contre la docking station

Works great but has a very occasional issue of not recognizing the external display when there's a loss of power. A quick cycle and it comes back. Otherwise this has been rock solid. If you're good with the occasional video issue, than this should work great for you. (Lenovo T14s)
