It’s placed mostly in the crutch area because that’s what touches the bike seat. They are high up on your cheeks where a diaper look might be! I was happy with them and I wear them after a bike ride without concerns about looking ridiculous! You will be pleasantly surprised as well! **Q: The size chart is really throwing me off. I'm 5’6", 180, 33" waist, 42" hip. Which of those is what I should be going by?** A: Just order the size that is the same size as you’d order your regular underwear.
