Yes I think it would it's big on my 4 year old who is average size

This 3-4 year size should fit your 3 y/o toddler. I bought the same size to fit my 3 y/o grandson. The hat might be a little large but it will still look adorable. The backpack that comes with the costume can be used as the candy bag.

La compre para un niño de dos años y medio y talla perfecta. Es un traje, es decir, un mono entero. Ademas lleva la mochila y a mi hijo le hace lucha gracia. El sombrero es pequeño pero muy chulo. Da el pego cuando lleva todo el conjunto. La cola tambien va pegada com velcro. Contenta con la calidad y talla. Todo ok, mas chulo y completo que el de chase
