Is it correct that the wheels will not move without the remote control?

The wheels will move when kids push/pull the vehicle. A remote control is only necessary if the child wants to remotely control the vehicle's movement, as opposed to moving it manually.

Are the wheels rubber or hard plastic? Can figures be placed inside (the door seems not to open)?

I purchased on December 11. No indication this toy would deliver AFTER Christmas. Now Amazon is telling me it o so likely to arrive Jan 5th or later?

You obviously bought it from one of those sellers that ship from overseas, usually the cheap knockout replica from China with lead paint and other "good" stuff. Why do you think there is a price difference to buy from us, VLC ONE, Inc., who are authorized Playmobil seller and import straight from Playmobil factory in Germany? All our Playmobil toys show on the box Made in Germany and we have them in stock here in Florida and also guarantee delivery before Christmas. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and there nothing you can do on your existing order. If you order from us you'll get the stuff before Christmas. Good luck!
