This keyboard (Apex 7 TKL) is really good and smooth with red linear switches that make a satisfying "clack" sound and it's really good for gaming and it sounds amazing when you are typing. It's a quiet keyboard with an OLED screen which is insane and the quality of it feels premium and I think that it will last a long period of time and it's really durable too. Pros✅: - Amazing feel and build - Good wrist rest - RGB lighting is beautiful - Steelseries program is user friendly - Easy to clean - Reliable switches - Lots of space for mouse movement Cons❌: -It has a really thick cable and the cable is non-detachable Overall, I didn't really mind the thick cable and the Keyboard itself is just too smooth and nice it literally feels like smooth butter when you press on the keys. This is a keyboard that I would definitely recommend 10/10 for sure🔥🔥

Ye the build quality is nice and everything, although I thought it had the omnipoint switches that still didn’t change my opinion on this keyboard, I recommend you get it if you haven’t already.

SteelSeries Apex 7 TKL Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – OLED Smart Display – USB Passthrough and Media Controls – Linear and Quiet – RGB Backlit (Red Switch) The difference between Steelseries and other reputable brands like Ducky --- is Software and configuration. I 've had many other mech keyboards like "epomaker" and other no-names here and the biggest problem i have had is configuring. Steelseries keyboards are not only excellent build quality and excellent switches -- they have amazing software. Download the GG software for ultimate control. I have grown tired of these knock off brands that are randomly glitchy and ultimately fail after a few months of usage , and finally decided to get this keyboard and i'm so glad i did. The oled little display is "fun" too and generally i'm using it to display system resources (gpu/cpu/ram/temp) which cycles thru. The single dial on the top right is used to control system volume and mute. The button under the dial is for media play/pause/skip/backskip tracks. It works excellent with spotify. Super handy!! Backlight LED is super crisp and can be changed to anything you imagine. The GG software is required to get all the colors and patterns but you could change some with the little oled SETTINGS screen.. Dont bother. Just use the software. You can save profiles as well and swap them . ULTIMATE control of the LED color to match everything excatly the way you want. I bought the red switch version and i would say it feels exactly what a red switch should feel like. The feel is not as "dampened" as i would like it --- a bit clacky.... but i can live with that. I think you can buy tiny keyboard rubber bands to change the feel a bit but i wont bother. I'm happy with them. I really appreciate the extra passthru usb slot which is great for usb keys. I think you really cant go wrong if you want a really well made mechanical with excellent software. Go get this. I prefer this over my ducky one TKL reds.... i love this keyboard that much. I now use the Ducky as a keyboard in office and this one at home.
