Very nice glaze for beautiful decorative finishes
I have used this over milk paint and latex, and the results are amazing. It is very important that your topcoat is fully cured before attempting to apply glaze. There are a variety of ways to apply this product which all produce different results. Some of the options include sealing or not before application, sealing or not sealing after application, and scuffing or sanding before or after application for example. It might be advisable to review these instructions on the can and even do a test area if you are interested in the different possible looks.

Great paint, easy to work with
Have used this brand for years and really like it. We are painting our older bedroom set a light grey color and dry brushing with the Van Dyke Brown . Really like how it is coming out. It was packaged very well. Would order this product from Amazon again.

Perfect finish every time!
Love this product! I am all about DIY'ing my own chalk paint, but you cannot duplicate this glaze - it is absolutely perfect for the antique look that is so popular in painted furniture and SO much easier to achieve the desired result than with wax. It is a favorite on my furniture rehab supply list!!I get the best results when I use a damp (wrung out) cloth to wipe it on and have another handy to wipe away excess. One can usually gets me through 4-5 large pieces of furniture.

Even a beginner can be a pro with this product!
I was nervous about trying this for distressing two nightstands I was working on. I had only helped my daughter do some distressing on top of her bedroom furniture she had redone with waxes. After some research I decided to go with this glaze instead of the wax as in the future it can be sanded and repainted without too much trouble vs. the wax that would be more work to change. My nightstands turned out great - even with myself being a beginner at this! I am now hooked! Used it to distress some signs I had made and now am looking for more projects to try it out on. It is so easy to adjust the amount of distressing. I found a damp cloth removing the glaze for a less glazed look works great. Then if I take too much off I just put more on and wipe off again. Definitely a great product!
